Very true — where are all the robotic bunnies, lemurs and other fuzzy critters?
Interesting thought to ponder…perhaps scientists would feel a bit guilty about running simulated lemmings, hamsters and other doe-eyed beasts through their experiments?
Never heard of anyone rushing to defend cockroaches from harm… 🙂

Hee, true. I guess that people would start complaining if they starting experimenting on stuff that was too cute.
I think it’s just more fun for them to create the creepy crawly things, I mean robotic cockroaches and snakes do seem to have a lot more uses than a robotic lemming. And they’ve got robotic octopus arms now too, see what I mean ?
